Typography can take many forms. Because, well, type makes up so much of what we do, what we read, and how we communicate. It’s literally making up what you’re reading right now.
So, as The Type Guy, I create posters, canvases, logos, wedding programs, and other pieces through the use of type. These projects can be computer-generated, or something completely custom and hand drawn. That’s right, I can sketch something original for your project.
If any of these pieces interest you, or you want something out-of-the-box created for your project, send me an email. I look forward to chatting with you!
Hand drawn type can be a great way to spice up a room in your home, and adds a nice personal touch. Below are some examples of what I've done for others and shows you what I can create for you! See something you like? Request a quote here.
A hand drawn canvas taken from one of my favorite hymns. This was created by a combination of pencil, paint, and markers. The style of shading I used is cross hatching.
A hand drawn type piece taken from the Scripture Lamentations 3:22-23. Created by a combination of pencils and markers.
I made this painting to decorate the reception venue at my wedding, and now it hangs in our living room. This canvas is a mixture of pencil sketches, a layer of paint, and shading by markers.
Created by use of pencils and markers.
